A first trip to Mongolia in 1996 will provide the inspiration for one of the most iconic music album from C.S.I. “Tabula Rasa Elettrificata”. And it is still in Mongolia that the desire to have a child will manifest itself for the first time in Massimo Zamboni and his wife. Caterina was born two years later, with an unmistakable stain, a small bruise destined to disappear over time: the Mongolian spot.

That sign will dictate participation in both spiritual and physical worlds, the Emilia of the “Fathers” and the Mongolia of the projection.

Twenty years after that first trip, Massimo and Caterina will return to that land that binds them deeply: a new journey – first all together, then Caterina alone – becomes a further discovery, an investigation into the Elsewhere that lives in us, a needed exploration among the rooms of the
most intimate memory.
